Drawn to the Rhythm

Naaahhh. What the hell’s this. I’ve become a total no-life for this week. The clutches of a flu still haven’t left me, but that doesn’t excuse everything. Ah, um well, I did open my summer terrace season yesterday after school with big-Suvi, but we didn’t sit there for long. And I hadn’t eaten yet, here I’ll give you the long story – I was supposed to tutor the incoming students on Thursday when they had their entrance examinations, but because of my flu I Was Dead Tired. So I only woke up when Suvi and Kaisla called me to arrive and let Kaisla go home. :D With all that hurry, I didn’t have time to eat – that and Suvi’s powers of persuasion of the greater scale combined with the fact that it’s so damn hard for me to say no, led me to have good ol’ alcohol in my empty-bempty tummy. Woozy only after one drink! And not healthy in the least.

I went to see Män som hatar kvinnor with Hansu on Wednesday. We both agreed it was a really good movie, though the ending could have been a little different. We promised to each other to go to the movies more often, as long as there’s an interesting movie on. Postia pappi Jaakobille would have been quite interesting, but I don’t want to pay 6,80-8xx€ for something that lasts for an hour and a half, I’d much rather rent it later on. Problem is, someone needs to rent it for me, because… I think there might be a bill of 35€ waiting for me in Makuuni. Eh…heheheh.

By the way, if someone was still confused about this issue, going to the private section for your dental care is fucking costly. And I went to a one that was on the less expensive scale, and still they took a major bite of my money! Poverty, you and I will be acquaintances for a long, long while. But yes, I admit that it was my own fault for not getting a time to the public side sooner. I just had to get everything checked and fixed before I go to Ireland, because if some problems arise while I’m there… Who knows how much I’d have to pay then. And I am actually really happy that it’s all done now. Shit I used to phear phear phear the dentist, those fuckerrsss when I was still underaged and went to the dentist, they were always so brutal with the equipment and their local anesthesia sucked – it hurt, damn it hurt! The most I hated the hygienist, you don’t need to suck my tongue out of my mouth!!! And making me open my mouth so wide, I have sometimes problems with my jaw – it starts to hurt if I stretch them too much, and sometimes I think they’re even a little dislocated if I sleep on my side, my lower jaw just slips a little too much on the other side and if I open and close my mouth it just goes ‘crunch-crunch’ = ouch.

I was delighted to notice that at least there’s a difference in dentists. My dentist, though much more expensive than on the public sector, was friendly, called me by my name, they were gentle with handling the equipment in my mouth and oh, the amount of local anesthetic – blisssss. I had to go there one time more after the first, because I had a small cavity on my upper tooth as well and there wasn’t enough time to do it on the same appointment. But it’s sure I’ll never let my dentist appointment wait for over three years again…
